Edna C. Groves, M.S., provides the following services:

• Personal Biographer

  As a personal biographer, I am delighted to discuss life history with any individual. This includes adult children who wish their parents to write their stories for their family.

  I offer private time with the narrator as we focus together on capturing your story and getting it into printed form. You can expect to enjoy the storytelling process and the opportunity to live in “the long view” of your life.

• Workshops and Classes

  As a workshop presenter and teacher, I guide groups learning the topics I specialize in. The format may be:

  • A one-day workshop.
  • A weekend or mini retreat.
  • A series of four to six classes.

  Religious and cultural institutions are among those who have enjoyed and benefited from my workshops.

• Speaker

  As a speaker, I am available for brief programs as well as longer talks. I am also available to do keynote speeches. Luncheons, professional meetings, panels, and conferences offered by civic groups, hospitals, churches, and retirement communities are among the possible venues.

• Training

  As an in-service trainer, I am happy to add to the already existing sensitivities of staff, caregivers, hospice workers, and volunteers involved with adults whose life stories need to be recognized.
