- “Without Story, information is nothing but a lot of bricks lying about waiting for someone to make use of them.”

Words That Endure® Process
The process includes the time spent gathering the story, making it ready for print, and getting the finished manuscript or book printed, blah, blah, blah.
There are two phases in the process to putting a story of any length into a printed personal history: Gathering the Story, and Designing and Printing.
Gathering the Story
- We talk together and our conversation is recorded.
- Our conversation is transcribed and edited for readability and flow, striving to keeping the narrator's voice intact.
- The storyteller reads the edited document and changes are agreed upon.
- The story is rewritten, professionally edited, and is ready for the next phase.
Designing and Printing
- Relevant photos and documents (e.g., military records, illustrations) are collected and scanned.
- Professional layout and design of the book. This includes but is not limited to: photo and document layout, choosing fonts, chapter headings, dust jacket design.
- The entire book is professionally edited and proofed.
- Printing and binding the book.
